Week 4 "Eagles at the Dam"

This isn't part of the "shot of the week" but I thought I'd share anyway. 

Week 3 "A Nap at Archie's"

People amuse me. Andrew and I were having breakfast at this cool old diner in Sioux City named Archie's.  As we were waiting for our food I snapped the shot. Hope you like it.

Week 2 "Scales"

I seem to shoot quite a few antiques, old buildings - aged things. Old things/places seem to house some kind of residue of where they've been, or things that have happened in/around them. It's kind of like a person wearing the past on their face.

Side note: Went to see the DaVinci exhibit at the Des Moines Art Center, in a word, amazing!

Hello and Welcome!

As I am new to blogging please bear with me. 


I am an artist and photographer, struggling to make art despite all life's little distractions (work, family, health, etc). 


This year I plan to do two things each week to help strengthen my dedication to making time for art.

2) Sketch/drawing of the Week
